I know it's currently all the rage to take a girls-trip for your bachelorette party, but let's see if I can convince you to skip the travel and enjoy your PNW surroundings! I will share part 1 of the 2-day Seattle-based bachelorette itinerary I planned for my sister.
When the budget doesn't require all the travel costs, you can treat the bride and yourselves to a culinary luxury. We hired a private chef team from Down to Earth Cuisine who prepared a 4-course dinner at my house and we wrapped things up with a cheesecake topped with mango curd I made myself.
The food was absolutely delightful! I had choosen a menu with SE Asian flavors, and it did not disappoint. Each course was plated beautifully and served to the table. The textures were perfect and the flavors were vivid. Every allergy and food preference was accommodated by the chefs. Though Down to Earth couldn't provide libations, they suggested a pairing of sake or wine for each course which I served to the group. It all paired wonderfully.
And here is the best part, when dinner concluded, the chefs took care of every bit of clean up. Every pan was washed, the dishwasher was loaded and running and they even went so far as to take out the trash and vacuum the floor. Fantastic experience for our whole party! And while the kitchen was cleaned, the group began some fun DIY bachelorette themed games. As the party wrapped up on night one, we all prepared for the action-packed day two. Stay Tuned!
XOXO,
Nina
